Competitions & Clinics

Marian Bach Equestrian Centre hold at least one hunter trial/cross country competition per year.

We have a small show jump course available to hire through out the summer months on grass in our show jump field at only £10 per rider / per hour. The jumps will need to be set up and put away after use of each rider that hires them. Contact us for details.

Safety – We take rider safety seriously and want you to be safe while at Marian Bach. All tack must be safe. Riding hats and body protectors must be correctly fitted and up to standard.

Course Hire

Our course hire prices are as follows:
  • £15 per rider with no time limit
  • £12 per rider when 5 or more riders
  • £150 per day for both arenas & cross country

Cross Country Club Membership Details

To join the Marian Bach XC Club:
1) Single Horse and Rider Combination: £30 

2) Flexi Horse: £50 (the same rider with unlimited horses )

Safety

We do not tolerate excessive use of the whip. If at any time riders are seen doing they will be made to leave immediately.

Riding Hat Standard British and European: PAS 015 (1998 or 2011) and VG01.040 2014-12, all with BSI Kitemark or InspecIC Mark.

Body Protector Standard Cross-country riding within the Pony Club, British Eventing, British Riding Clubs & British Horse Society registered riding schools and exams require riders to wear body protectors that meet BETA 2009 Level standard 3.
